Newbie looking for a dress

Hi everyone! Can y'all recommend some places to dress shop around DFW? I've only lived here about year, and am a little lost as to where to start. I've heard great things about Stardust, but I am kind of on a tight budget, so maybe looking for places with great trunk sales, etc. I'd really appreciate your help! TIA :)

  • You'd be surprised at what you can get on a budget at lots of bridal boutiques!

I got my dress at Mockingbird Bridal, and I think they start around $300-$450 and go up from there.  I had a great experience, but other girls have said they didn't like it, so ask for Maggie if you go -- she will treat you great!

Circle Park Bridal is another place that's great -- all their dresses are off the rack, so you buy them "as is."

I think Denton Bridal Co. is nice (although it might be under a new name.. someone else will hopefully chime in).

My MIL got her dress at the Stardust and really liked working with them.

Thank you for all the suggestions! You've been very helpful!
  • Try Terry Costa --they have some great sales!
  • Yes! I went to Terry Costa one weekend, and they were having a 20% off all bridal gowns sale, and I got my Allure gown for under 1000. They had dresses less expensive than that, too.

Its still Bridal Co. But its in Allen now off of Mcdermott and 75
  • Bridal Co. in Allen has great deals. I ordered my BM's dresses here and they have been great to work with.

Providence Place in Rockwall is great. My budget was $1500 and they only had one dress in the store over that. Tons of dresses were less than $1000.
