Cargile Photography?

http://www.cargilephotography.com/

I found the reviews from weddingwire and such, but there aren't any from this year. Does anyone have any experience with this business. I'm interested in them, just nervous.

Also, I'm not sure where else I could ask this, but is it normal to ask to do the engagement session seperate before signing the contract. I'd like to do this just so I can see if I feel comfortable with them and like the work after. thanks!

I'm not too fond of their photography, but I know a lot of photographers will let you do an engagement session to "try" them out and if you end up deciding to book them for your wedding, they'll take a little bit off of the package price since you did your e-session with them. Good luck!

That is definitely a great question to ask when you go in search for a photographer.

I went based on talking to the photographer and getting to know her. She did an amazing job on our engagement, wedding and our trash the dress.

I've always gone by the saying, "you get what you pay for."

If you want beautiful, unforgettable memories of one of the biggest days in your life, then you definitely need to do research.

    Good Luck!

I agree with  Belle101781. You definitely want to feel comfortable with them. Maybe it is just me, but I knew imeadiately after meeting our photographers. It was just truly a gut feeling. My FI, Mom, and I walked out without a doubt knowing we would choose them. I am just so grateful for them. You want to exhaust all of your options when choosing you photographer. Research as much as you can.

I do reccomend checking out our photographers C. Baron Photography. They are great! Also, I know the other ladies on the board would be more than happy to reccomend their choices as well.

I used Nico photo and did the contract before the Engagement pics. Len was awesome and I totally loved them. I didn't even think to do a trial or anything prior to booking, but that's really good advice. Then again, we went with Nico because they're somehow affiliated with A&A Video which FI and I knew right away we wanted to book. Good luck :)
