Wedding and Non-Wedding Related plans??

WR: programs, gifts, finalize music selections, purchase alcohol and start seating chart.

NWR: That doesn't exist. When I'm three weeks away before jetting off to my DW, everything is WR.

pick out father-daughter song
find altar decorations
take one last look for wedding jewelry
go to rehearsal
put the final details on my cake topper

Gah, this week I have to write a million papers!

BUT the organization I applied to said they should be responding to applicants this week. I really can't wait to hear from them, I am compulsively checking my email every 10 minutes.

Also, I'm getting my hair cut on Tuesday - which may or may not be a good thing.

Hmm, let's see...

WR: Put away the gifts that I still havent put away yet?? haha, the cats are using the stacked boxed items as a playhouse. :-/

NWR: Laundry. Hubby didnt have any clean work clothes this morning. I made it his fault by telling him I dont check his drawers every day so when he is running low he needs to let me know! (Am I a bad wife already??!)

Absolutely not. :) I basically do the same exact thing.

And, I work like a billion hours this week, so nothing else is going on. Except finding sometime to sleep. Fun times.

WR: We decided to go get married at the courthouse, so we are going to get the license next Saturday morning.

NWR: We put an offer in on our (hopefully) first home today. Crossing my fingers all goes well and we get it. Trying not to get too excited in case we don't.

Btw pp with DH's or FI's with laundry issues - my FI was motivated to do laundry last night only because he realized he didn't have any work clothes. Usually the case is that he runs out and then goes "omg nothing of mine got washed" and I get to go "um, that's because you decided not to do laundry and I washed mine and DS's instead"!

I don't believe in laundry being womans' work, I kick his butt to the laundry room when necessary lol.

Hmm...

WR: sorting out the RD proposal and getting that nailed down. Helping FFIL with his tux rental (they live in the BOONIES) and maybe looking into spa stuff for the day before. i finally ordered my invitations yesterday after agonizing over proofs for weeks so i kinda have my foot off the accelerator this week.

NWR: i'm on call for work all week and weekend so i won't be straying far from the house, it seems i always get called in if i try to do anything fun. so i plan to get my yard looking a little less ghetto and my pond clear and some plants in it so i can enjoy it again this summer! got some new koi for it yesterday actually

WR: I got so much done this weekend, I can just keep at my DYI wedding crafts. This weekend FI and I finalized our wedding budget and menu. I then e-mailed everything to the events manager. We listened to more 20's-30's music to get a feel for more of the key songs to be played during the ceremony and reception.

NWR: I need to find a better babysitter for my DDs. Since they were born this has been a never ending battle. Find reasonable and reliable babysitters. RIght now I have neither. FI though is loving his new job and new title. Men are so cute with their lables. Doesn't matter what it is, just has to soung cool!

WR - brainstorming cake flavor ideas and starting to think about wedding bands. got the number of a friend's friend who makes his own stuff and we are looking into using him.

NWR - my best friend's mom died this weekend

tomorrow i am heading up to see her and this weekend is the memorial service. also lots of work, a mix of fun outdoor surveys and stressful meetings. trying to baby my legs after racing a 10 miler on sunday but plan on getting back to training later in the week.

@ kgettingmarried - he's not really... allowed ... to use the washer and dryer... He 100% of the time fails to get everything out of his pockets beforehand, so I would constantly find ink pens, coins, or tire tread depth gauges (basically looks like a small screwdriver!) in the washer. And in the dryer would be the disintegrated paper bits that he forgot about...

WR: Nothing!

NWR: I'm leaving for Vegas on Thursday!!! I can't wait. I'll be doing WR things there I guess since one of my BM will be buying her dress and my friend, the officate and I will prolly go over the type of ceremony we want. But it's really more about spending time with my cloest friends that I haven't seen in TWO years, to the date!
