  • If it is, I've never heard of that.  A lot of people get engaged with a small or simple ring and "upgrade" at some point.
  • I don't think it's bad luck, but why do you want to change your e-ring? Have you had it forever and looking to upgrade? Do you just not like it?

    This. And I never could have done that to my now husband bc he knew exactly what I wanted and liked. He bought the style I wanted in the size diamond he could afford.
  • I can see y youd be worried about that being bad luck. I've never heard of changing the ring as bad luck but it can be a bit untraditional. But that depends on you. I plan to upgrade the diamond but keep the band through out the engagement.
