Has anyone been to a wedding at this location or is there anyone who has looked into this location? The price, the decor and all the information I can find seem to almost be "too good to be true." Any suggestions are welcomed! Thanks.
It's actually owned by a friend's family so many of our friends have had their receptions there. Food is always great, service is good, and the convenience of the hotel is awesome. Thumbs up.
My cousin got married there in December if 09. They had a huge wedding, 600 or so people. It was really nice, the service was good, food was good (from what i remember), the hotel convenience is super nice... all around good place, in my opinion.
oh, I also want to add that they host bridal shows all the time and have special offers if you book their place, so I recommend going to or googling chicago bridal expo and sign up for a georgio's expo date!
We are having our wedding there! So far I have had nothing but great things to say about them. Valerie is the manager and she has been so helpful with all of my many questions. We went to the food tasting, and thought everything was delicious! I love that the hotel is attached, they give you centerpieces, cake, a free hotel stay on the wedding night, and the list goes on. The price is awesome for all of the things that are included!! Definitely recommend, so far!
Wow, the more I hear about it, the more I'm really interested! My fiancee and I just picked a date this morning, so now I'll definitely have to stop in and have a nice "meeting!" Thanks!
We're doing our wedding there too and we are really happy with how easy they are to work with.
Our rep is Patricia and she's been nothing but accommodating
We're doing a January wedding and having the ceremony and reception there (2 separate rooms) and she comped us the seat covers for the reception.
We are bringing our own centerpieces and they agreed to do their centerpieces (carnations) as ceremony decorations instead
The cake they go with is from Naples bakery and is amazing (we were already going with Naples before we decided on Georgios)
They were able to lower our minimum because we're off season and have a lot of out of town guests.
They were able to adjust the price per plate based on off season and only open wine/beer/soda (fiance's family doesn't drink)
I'm so pleased with how accommodating and easy to work with they are and it's nice to see that people say the food is good too (we haven't gotten in to do a tasting yet)
It's definitely a good find

Can I ask when that happened? Was that recently? That is the only thing I have had a little trouble with them for. I didn't like the chairs on their own so I ordered chair covers from a different company, mainly because the outside company was cheaper. However, I would like the chairs covered for the ceremony too (we are also having the ceremony there as well in a separate room). Just seeing how you were able to get the chair covers, so I can see if I should approach them about it again! Thanks!!
