Good morning ladies :) What are your plans today? Any big weekend plans?

I work until 5, then picking FI off and dropping him off at a friend of ours for 6. He is going to a big Men's Leadership Seminar in MI tonight that he's really looking forward to. While he's gone I'm picking up one of my bridesmaids and taking her to the mall. She's lost A LOT of weight the last 6 months and needs new clothes so I'm going to celebrate with her :)

Tomorrow I am getting housework done, hopefully hit some wedding DIY in the morning. Around 2 we are leaving to go pick up some business partners to carpool over to a seminar in MI for the evening (starts at 5).

Sunday we start off with church, which is the norm. That afternoon I will spend doing housework/Wedding DIY (I better have SOME checks after this weekend!!!! I need to get back on track, falling behind!!!). That evening we're going for dinner with a friend who lives out of town but is back for the weekend :)

    We are both sick and still can not visit FML.  :(  I talked to her yesterday, and she sounded better.  Unlike last weekend, when we couldn't understand her.  She is still in the hospital. 

    I plan on laying low and cleaning.  I also have to get all of our vendor info ready for the wedding venue.  We have our 6 month meeting to pick meals and confirm a semi solid time line on the 24th. 

    If I feel better on Sunday, I'm sure FI will be driving me up the coast to our favorite diner.  This is our thing when we are getting over being sick.  The ocean is the one thing that makes me happy no matter what.

    Today is work then my son goes to his father's place. I hope I can watch some TLC tonight but our cable is wonky so I dunno it that will happen.
    Tomorrow, we meet with another architect, have our marriage prep, and then I'm going to David's Bridal with my sister and her best friend (they live out of town) because she (the friend) is wedding dress shopping. It will be fun to go as a spectator! My sister is the MOH for her as well; her wedding is in October. We're going to hit up Michael's as well. This friend is the complete opposite of me in terms of organization and creativity, so it should be an interesting day :P
    Sunday, we meet with another architect and I will be having dinner with my parents because I have to drive my son to their place (out of town) for March break.
    I plan on getting my dress shirts for the girls and getting those done. I want to work on my cootie catchers and invites as well. Just pick away at DIY stuff :) Hopefully more supplies arrive soon so I can work on my pomanders :)

    This should be a nonstress weekend for me..... hubby has to work both days so I plan on working on lots of DYI stuff. Hopefully by Sunday I will have lots of pictures to post in the FB album!

    Sounds like a lot of DIY across the board!

    mamameech - A lot calmer today! We have a new plan going forward, and he's on an allowance hahaha! I handle all our finances and have all cards (including his debit).

    Ladies Night tonight :)
    Tomorrow I go with (most) of my BMs to get fitted for dresses & for lunch. Maybe the dog park if it is this nice out.
    Sunday Lunch at my parents.
    And a Zumba class to prepare myself for all this food.

    Today I set up our new bedding (obsessed).

    This weekend FI is out of town on business so my mom and I are meeting with a second florist (considering switching, shame on me, I know) and I will hopefully fix our printer so I can make the table numbers.  Other than that I'm going to start reading The Five Love Languages for our pre-marital counseling.

    SCogs- Let me know how the reading goes.  I'm obsessed with that book!

    Between gas/hotel/food cost, FI and I agreed I wouldn't visit this weekend since last weekend was really expensive :-(

    But, I am babysitting for a few hours tonight and all of tomorrow.  I always hear people say they are "too old to babysit."  I don't get it haha.  I LOVE being around kids but am not ready for my own.  And, who doesn't like tax-free cash on hand?!  We are pretty tight on money and with my busy schedule it is the best way to have a flexbile part-time gig.  The kids for the two families I'm sitting for are great so it'll be fun to play with them this weekend .  Sunday I need to do some serious cleaning and then am getting to some DIY projects after.  My dad's bday is Sunday so dinner with the fam Sunday night.
