Should flower girl dress style match BM's?

In your opinion....Would you match BM style or have different?
My dress is big ruffly pick ups with crystals in the bunches.
Bridesmaids have irredescent taffeta with just a few swoopy gathers.
But not sure what tod o about Flower girl...
Also, My gown is taffeta, as is bridesmaids(totally unplanned- just loved the dress). So do you also think flower girl should be? TIA

I havent found my flower girl dress.  However, I will be looking for a white dress for her, not necessarily to match mine.  I may include a bow or shoes that match the plum dresses the BMs will be wearing.

So I guess to answer your question, the flower girl will match me more than the BMs.

My dress is tulle, and I'd like the flower girl dresses to have a tulle skirt as well. The bridesmaids dresses are fuschia, and the flower girl dresses will also have a fuschia sash and embroidered fuschia flowers at the bottom. In my case, I want the flower girls to have a dress like mine, but tie in with the bridesmaids as well.

I don't think they have to match but maybe have a sash with the colors. My dress was ivory so I got theirs in ivory. They also had a navy sash because the BM dresses were navy.

I'd concentrate more on finding a dress that she likes and looks good in, rather than trying to perfectly match the styles (matching the level of formality is good, though).

It's something that I think a lot of people won't really notice if the styles are all the same. I'd be more apt to notice if a big poofy dress was swallowing up a little girl, or if she just looked silly/uncomfortable, rather than if everyone was in the same type of skirt.

Work together with her and her mother to find something you all like.

Our FGs dresses matched mine, and then had a pink sash around the waist that matched my BMs.
