I am getting married in Newport May and I need some thoughts of florists. I have a friend in Middletown but she was not really sure who to consider. Thanks

    I definitely recommend Toni Chandler, she does amazing work. She is also based in the Newport area. Sayles Livingston is also equally talented. Some other popular florists on this board include Florals by Alisa, Blooming Blossoms, and Golden Gate. You can check all reviews for all of the above florists on weddingwire and other review sites. I used Whole Foods in Providence for my flowers and they were great and budget friendly.

    Hi! Congratulations. I got married this past September in Newport and Rays Flower Shop- Terry Cabral did our wedding. She does amazing work and is soo creative.     I can't get Toni Chandler to return a call or email, which is a huge red flag to me.  Her work looks beautiful, though.  Think we'll probably use Sayles Livingston.  My sister used Broadway Florist.

    Jay, from Golden Gate, is very responsive by email and does great work for a fair price. Very pleased with the flowers for DD's 9/17/11 wedding.
