DIY Cardbox Alternative!!! PIP lots!

So, with 20 days to go I decided to scrap my cardbox and burlap signage I originally made and am going with this instead. I got this cute decorative wooden thing that is meant to hold live plants or decorative spheres. It was 50% off at Khols and I had an additional 20% off everything!!! I used glue dots and burlap to make the bottom have sides. Added the fabric flower I sewed and a small "cards" banner with vintage seem binding and embellishments!!!

LOVE IT! And it matched my lanterns!!! Super cheap alternative to the typical cardbox option. I have some leftover moss from some of our votives and was thinking about putting that on the bottom of the inside. Then the cards would lay on a bed of moss. Thoughts??? It could tie in the green from the signage a bit more.

ooo neat!! i love the little banner with the letters on it.... good idea! and good buy! congrats! and i like the moss idea.... will be a nice touch......
