XP: Target registry woes? Look at this!

MAJOR TIP!!!

I signed in as myself on the new Target website, and it made me change my password.  Once I did that, I used the "find registry" option, looked myself up, and there was a button at the bottom that allowed me to "copy the registry."  I was able to start all over with 1 click.

They say my account is invalad and I have to create a whole new account. So much for that registry. 2 weeks until the shower and no one can access my stuff!

Mine came back up when I reset the password, but half the items say they are out of stock or don't have pictures anymore!

I logged on today, but only to see the registry (not to update) and everything was fine with mine.

We had a Target registry because it was the best place for us to register for our recreational stuff, but I read terrible things about their registry and customer service. I wasn't too thrilled with them. So most of our stuff was through BBB - NO problems there, ever!

Yea, Target's registry is horrible. Target is not horrible, I LOVE Target. But their registry= ugh. I had a few problems with it during our wedding process. They did give me a $5 gift card though for my troubles haha.

I had no idea about this till I just saw this. I logged on and changed my password but it's like my registry is no longer linked to my account. I can't change stuff on it at all, but it's still there when I search for it. This is so aggravating! I don't want to just create a new one because if people search for it, how will they know which registry to use?

When I used the button to create a new one, I searched for my name, and only the new one came up.  It's like the old one got absorbed into the new one, lol.
