Heritage Hills

I am just wondering if anyone could provide some feedback about their experience at Heritage Hills. We had an appointment with them recently and I want to know if it's worth the money to book there. I would like to know:

1) your experience-good or bad

2)which room did you use for your reception

3) any problems with the outdoor ceremony site (i.e. noise from Knickers pub or the golf course etc?) if you used the site

4) how was the staff and the service you recieved?

We're trying to book our venue ASAP so any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

I am not using them, but they were one of my top contenders.  I like it, and I liked the outside room... the Terrace they called it.  I just wasn't too keen on walking across the parking lot in my dress, because the place to get ready was at the hotel.  Also, the price was a little steep, but it was at least in the range of everywhere else.  I am getting married in June 2011, but it's going to be at a brand new golf course that is opening up in Manchester.  I am not sure where your ceremony is, but check out Royal Manchester Golf Links too!  I think that you just need to book the place that makes you most comfortable!  Don't stop looking until you find it.  You do not have to settle!

Thanks! I think it's a been pricey as well. I just emailed Manchester yesterday for more information! I'm getting married in June 2011 as well (hopefully if we ever book a venue!)

We booked our wedding there for next October. I absolutely LOVED Tony. He really bent over backwards to try to accomodate what we were trying to do, and he was very realistic with us. We thought the prices were great, and the food there is excellent (we ate at the Ironwoods a few weeks later). We're having our ceremony outside, our cocktail hour in the Ironwoods Resturant, and our reception in the ballroom.

We had our wedding at Heritage Hills in May 2009.  (both the ceremony and the reception).  We loved everything about it!  The food and service was excellent.  We had no issues at all.  It rained 10 minutes before our ceremony and they moved everything inside.  I really wanted an outdoor ceremony, so the staff moved everything back outside for me - no complaints at all.

We used the indoor ballroom for the reception - it was cheaper than the outdoor ballroom, plus my husband didn't really like that room.

We had no problems with noise during the ceremony from Knickers Pub or the golf course, and we had some beautiful pics taken on the golf course.

If you have more questions, you can page me on the Central PA board on the Nest.  (I rarely come back to the Knot).

We personally thought Heritage Hills was alittle pricey for what you get but it is a gorgeous venue. we ended up choosing a similar style venue which is the Out Door Country Club. We thought that their prices were much more attractive and they have a gorgeous venue as well. I have included a link to their page below but we were looking for a golf theme to ours and thought they had the best bang for the buck
