String Musicians

Considering Fermata, Paragon or Columbus Musicians LLC to play at our daughter's wedding ceremony at her church.  Any comments, recommendations re. these groups?

    We're going with Fermata...we heard them play at a wedding and were impressed by their skill. Then once I began looking into it, they were the cheapest (for string trio) and have such a good selection...plus Mitch is super wonderful and helpful. Good luck!

    Thanks Future Mrs G for your input.  I was very impressed with Mitch when we spoke on the phone over the other two groups.  Just having a difficult time making that final decision. He does have a good selection of song material. We are going with either a string quartet or trio.  Fermata is at the top of my list, but just wanted to get some others input..

    No problem! Mitch advised us on a trio, based on the number of guests we'd be having. It definitely saves us some money, about 150 bucks, so we'll take it. =) Good luck with that planning. =)

    We are using Flute Cocktail and I couldn't be happier with them so far. The wedding is in 7 days!

    A friend of mine just recommended Class Acts – Silver & Spruce ..she saw them at another one of her friend's wedding...haven't contacted them but I did do a google search on them, but didn't save their contact info!

    We are using The String Quartet through Paragon.  I listened to there sample music online which was great, and my church also said they recommend Paragon.   Rhonda  has been  our contact person and has been easy to work with and is quick to respond to any questions!!  I am so excited about this part of my wedding, so I will be sure to write a review after 12/10.

    We used Columbus Musicians LLC and was very happy.  I never spoke with our contact other than via email, but he was very prompt and professional.  

    From all reports the music was wonderful, but to be honest, the music other than the recessional is a total blur to me :D  But that is not their fault.
