Hotel Serria/KI Convention Center

Hi All,

We are thinking about having our reception at the KI Convention center in Green Bay.  Does anyone have any experience with them?  I would love to hear reviews and would also love to see pictures if possible.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

    I am not a fan.. The Sierra is BEAUTIFUL, but DH had really bad customer service with them.  We had a block of rooms there for our wedding, and were planning on staying there our wedding night as well, but they were very rude to him that morning when he went to check in, so much that he left and booked our room at the Clarion next door. 

    We were thinking of the KI Center for our reception, but the carpeting is horrible- its purple with orange and yellow confetti like flecks!!  Ours ended up at Riverside Ballroom and I could not have been happier! It is gorgeous, and they were amazing to work with.  Good luck!! Any other GB questions, I'd be happy to help

    I stayed a weekend for a fire convention. As the hotel is georgeous, I wasn't too impressedwith the convention center itself, the food wasn't very good, and the celing was unfinnished and just rafters (except in one smaller convention area). Here is a pic of the carpet katie was talking about....

    FYI, they just re-did the carpeting to a steel gray/brown combo (per my florist). Its a great blank space if you really want to make a room your own...

    I actually just booked my reception here and I absolutely love it! Angela has been awesome to work with. Any question I have she's quick to respond, literally sometimes she get back to me within the hour! There's different banquet rooms to choose from and they're big enough. Also you can decorate and customize it anyway you want. Someone had mentioned the carpet was ugly which was actually just replaced. I've heard from several people the food is amazing. I think everything is very reasonable from the food to the room rental, it's the most reasonable prices I've seen. My finance wanted lobster for herself on our wedding day, it wasn't even on the menu and they're getting her, her lobster! Awesome customer service :) I definitely recommend it!
