Grandpa is broken

He broke the top of his femur (he did this 2 years ago on the OTHER leg). He's currently in the hospital on morphine because his INR is too high and they have to get it down before they can do surgery to put pins in his leg.

They've upped his blood thinners and now everyone is waiting.

How did he break his leg? Did it just snap on its own?

Busy, the first time he did this (2 years ago) he fell. This time they're not really sure what happened. He certainly hasn't been doing the exercises that he was supposed to do post-rehab and maybe it was just too much on his "good" leg. It's a messy spot to fracture. He's going to have to get pins put in.
