asking brother's gf to video

my brothers gf isnt in the wedding party, but she is staying at the hotel the night before with us, as well as getting ready w us and then getting to the reception.
I wanted to ask her to video tape the guys and girls getting ready for a few minutes each- nothing long.

then at the reception, I wanted her to ask guests to leave a video message when they walked in.

Is this rude to assign a guest, a task?

    Many will say don't put your guest to work Personally if I was hanging out I wouldn't mind video taping getting ready. It would keep me busy. During the reception might be more of a "job" when she should be enjoying herself. But where your brother won't be around she might like me task so she's not sitting alone. Not sure the dynamics and how many people she knows. Also is she shy? Some people would hate to be put on the spot to interact with people they do t know.

    shes def not shy she's really friendly to everyone she meets. I am thinking it would be like a "guest" book and she would just film people are theyare coming in and getting their seats- since the bridal party (including my brother) will be down in the suite getting ready and then would be announced in for an entrance.

    I don't think there is anything wrong with asking her to take a video of the getting ready process but I do think asking her to do a video guestbook is a bit burdensome. I think it will take awhile and she won't really be able to enjoy the first part of the reception. Plus it might be hard to get everyone/create a line at the entrance to the reception?

    I say that without knowing how many guests you'll have. Is it a large wedding?
