Changing to Leave the Reception??

Hey girls! I'm trying to figure out what I want to do as far as changing before leaving the reception. My fiance and I are going to be spending our wedding night in Cincinnati before leaving on our honeymoon. The next day we are going to my parents' house to open gifts and cards and then leaving that Monday for Ireland. Should I find a cute outfit to change into for the "send-off" or should I just stay in my dress since I can take it with me to my parent's house the next day? I want my dress in the send-off pictures but I also want to just leave after we get in the car. Any suggestion would be great. I know that my fiance wouldn't mind helping me out of the dress, haha.

    I've only seen people change before leaving the reception in the movies.

    What differentiates an average host and a great host is anticipating unexpressed needs and wants of their guests.  Just because the want/need is not expressed, doesn't mean it wouldn't be appreciated.

    Thanks ladies! I was leaning more towards just staying in my dress and this solidifies my decision. And we are going to Dublin, I'm super excited. I didn't think we would be able to afford it but Dublin is surprisingly affordable! Thanks again dears!

    I feel the same way about this as I do about having a separate dress for the reception. No.

    But maybe it's because I'm going to be wearing my dress for as long as I possibly can the day of my wedding, lol. I only get to wear it once, why would I want to take it off?

    <div>Yeah, I want to wear my wedding dress as long as possible. When trying it on I stood around in it for at least 20 mintues after saying "yes" haha. </div>
