Wedding D.O.C./Planner

Hi,

I have been planning my wedding iwth the help of my friends and mom, but think a D.O.C. might be helpful for actual wedding day.  I had not planned on it, so I didn't really set aside budget money for it.  Do you know of anyone who is less than $600 firm?  What is your favorite part about having a Coordiantior and do you feel like it is a necessary vendor-- trying to convince my FI that it is.

    I should add that I would love to find someone with experience.  I have foudn a couple in that price range, but they have only done a couple weddidngs.  Thanks.

    We are using angie from http://www.absolutelyevents.net/. She is the owner and she is awesome. We are spending around what you are looking for but just a little more since we have to add one of her assitants due to our venue. I totally recommend her she is awesome!

    oh and PS my FI didn't think we needed one either until we meet with angie and she told us all she was going to take care of!

    I am using Courtney Tibbets with after the engagement 
    Here is her web site before I forget.

    I have to say I LOVE her. I have planned weddings before, and planning my own isnt too bad but she is great. I havae the month of package, and she has already helped me find my RD location , and helped with contacting other vendors and setting up times.She is incredibly sweet and responsive. I think she will make my wedding day go so smooth. I would highly recommend her.

    Another rec for Courtney with After the Engagement.  I have her day of package and she's been EXTREMELY helpful thus far!!  She is so very nice!!
