Hello ladies! I'm new to the Columbus Board.... just happened to stumble upon it actually! lol Are there any ladies getting married at Franklin Park conservatory? Or getting married next June?
Just curious, how does everyone balance their time between life and wedding planning? I feel like wedding planning takes up so much time!!

    We're getting married in June in Upper Arlington....it's so hard to wedding plan and have a life, too!  I've been finishing up grad school, as well...graduate in 24 days! AMEN haha.....but it's a huge challenge.  I have to stay very organized!  and I've been scheduling wedding planning time in my weekly schedule with my mom and sister so we have a specific date/time/place that we have to accomplish something!

    There is no balance! j/k, when I started I was blah blah blah about wedding 24-7 and now I realize not everyone likes that so I don't let it consume my life, actually I spend less time on my wedding right now and more time sitting and hanging out. You just have to still have a life even though you are planning a wedding!!! Welcome to the board.

    Welcome, welcome, welcome!  You will find that you go through different waves in your planning process--some points where you have to do a lot of wedding stuff and then other points where you don't do much wedding related stuff for a couple of months.  It will all come together in the end though :-)

    I am having my wedding at Franklin Park in July! :-D I'm fairly new to the boards as well! Just make sure that the time that you spend with your FI is quality time not just wedding planning time :-) Welcome!

    We are getting married in June as well, the 9th. What is your date?
    I feel like I do wedding stuff all the time, but really its just searching around and looking at pictures of wedding stuff I like.... so not really getting anything done. :)

    I tried to find the cbus facebook page but couldn't find it?? not sure why! lol

    amcollins32: I can't imagine planning a wedding while in grad school! Made sure that I had plenty of time to plan after I finnished school last June (we've been engaged since Aug 30, 2010 lol) Props to you for being able to do both and congrats on your upcoming graduation!! :)

    jnkreager : i noticed your countdown says you have less than 2 weeks til your big day...how exciting!! congrats:)


    We are getting married on June 2nd. I can't believe its only 6 months away...where did the time go?! I feel like I have nothing planned. I'm doing all the planning almost entirely on my own... i try not to freak my FI out cuz all he sees is $$ lol even tho he knows how much the average wedding costs!
    Do any of you ladies have difficulties justifying spending so much money on one day? sometimes I just can't believe how much everything costs!!
