Dress shopping tomorrow

Well,  it has begun.  I'm going dress shopping for the 1st/2nd time.  1st with the new date set.

I'm a little scared since my mother, grandmother and sister are going with me.  We have have polar opposite styles.

What I'm most scared of is....The $99 sale started today.  Its going to be a mad house and I've been on edge.  Lets hope anxiety stays away.

    I LOVED dress shopping!!  I knew my dress was the ONE but kept trying dresses on anyway because I was having so much fun!   Have fun with it and be true to who you are.

    Are you going to David's?....I noted the "$99" dress sale.  If you are, bring your patience and be prepared for crowds of women.  I worked at David's in Nashua for about a year and weekends this time of year were completely overwhelming...they call it "bridal Christmas".  On the up side, if you go with a good attitude and lots of patience you might find the dress of your dreams for a bargain!  Good luck and enjoy it! :)

    Have fun.  It took looking at 4 different salons and 5 trips, (first and last trip to the same salon), before settling on a dress.  If you find one you like---not at DB though because they are a chain--be sure to compare prices at salons because there is a big disparity between prices for the same dress.  Modern Bride in Bedford was much cheaper for the same exact dress than 125 Bridal in Plaistow and they weren't as pushy either.  Also--the non-DB salons usually have their annual sale around Thanksgiving week--so keep that in mind if time permits.  If you order a dress--it will take about 4-6 months for it to arrive, plus you'll need to factor in some time for fittings and alterations also.  Best of luck!
