date night ideas....? help

okay so FI very rarely get a night out.  His ex has his kids and I got a sitter for mine for tomorrow night.
I made a fuss about us never doing anything, so now I have to plan something great.  (he canceled his plans because I made a fuss)
I am looking for fun ideas.  But cant be too crazy, FI has work in the AM. 
FI doesnt drink... and doesnt like the movies....so sitting at a bar drinking isnt really an option. A bar is an option if there is a band or something worth doing there... but so far I havent found any fun live music going on tomorrow night. 
anybody have any good ideas?
Ive thought of maybe going bowling, or to a jazz club or comedy club.

    Indoor mini golf, batting cages, etc or Trivia at a tavern, VFW, church or wherever might be hosting.  Good Luck and have fun!

    Trivia is so fun! I love going to a restaurant or bar and doing trivia -- one time I even got a prize for coming in last place so its really a win-win :)

    Ice skating is fun, comedy clubs are a blast too. Does he like sports? There may be some minor league games going on (basketball, hockey..) that are cheap and usually just as fun as the big league stuff. You can pig out on stadium fun, thats always fun for me, lol.

    You could always have a "date night" in. We do that sometimes. We go to the store and pick out stuff for a nice dinner and cook together with music on. Then we watch a movie or tv shows from on demand. We always get stuff for a fun dessert too! 

    Whatever you end up doing, hope its fun!!

    Comedy Clubs are great.  If you live near an Improv location, sometimes they give Free tickets if they haven't sold out a store.  Or agree with PP of Dave and Busters.  Though I'm partial to there since that's where we went on our first date!
