So a few weeks ago (or months... I don't really remember), I posted to tell you all about the trailer my brother bought for FI and I to rent from him. It has since arrived and been tied down. This weekend, FI and I went down to work on it. With the help of my family we have most of it painted, over half the carpet ripped out, the kitchen hardware refinished, a decent amount of furniture bought and in our barn waiting for us, a sewer line, and running water! I've never been so excited to see a toilet flush!
What I'm even more excited about is that FI is moving to my house this weekend. Saturday is our one year anniversary, and we've been long distance the entire time. Seeing him for more than a few days in a row is going to be a new and amazing experience. He's still looking for a job, but out of the 7(ish) places he went to apply at yesterday, he did on the spot interviews at 3 (and one of those places had him come back in for a second interview). He has another one scheduled, and I found out this morning that thanks to me being the step-niece of the owner, he should be getting a call pretty soon offering him a job at a local winery.
Sorry it's a lot, but I'm so excited and everybody else is sick of listening to me yack about it!
