Jewelry...... HELP

I was planning on having someone make my jewelry and was notified today that she no longer can.  I spent some time on Etsy, but I get so nervous buying something from there not knowing exactly how it will look.  So, that brings my question.... Were did you get your jewelry from?  Can you post a pic?  If you do mind answering, tell us how much you spent on jewelry!

I love etsy and have made many purchases from there.

    My fav seller is: http://www.etsy.com/shop/ChantalEveleen

I understand, though, if you are nervous buying something you can't see in person and touch. I bought a necklace and a bracelet from Macy's but I think I am going to go with a different style. Maybe I just like an excuse to buy jewelry :)

I have been keeping my eye on Express since they often have great coupons and I like their jewelry, as well as the department stores.

I would have a hard time buying jewelry online that I couldn't see.  It's too hard to gauge length, size, color, sparkle, etc.

I ended up buying my jewelry from JC Penney.  I wore a dangly pair of earings in my first hole and small studs in my second.  I also wore a necklace.  I paid less than $30 for everything.

Here's a picture that shows my jewelry decently well...

That may totally not be your style though.  What are you looking for?

Mine was from JCPenney as well!  I had a necklace and bracelet... it was probably $30? ish?

I'd have a hard time buying that online as well.  I'd check every department store (Macy's, Dillard's, Penney's, Sears--I had a friend whose wedding jewelry was from Sears and beautiful!).  I'd look at places like Banana Republic, Express, New York and Co, The Limited, places like that as well if you're having a hard time finding what you're looking for.

If you don't mind me asking, what type of jewelry are you looking to wear? I like to make jewelry and have made some beaded necklaces, bracelets and earrings for friends and family.

I don't think I'm worried about the quality of the etsy stuff.  I'm more worried about how it'll look on me.  I can't picture it clearly.  Some stuff is priced well enough that I may just order it for the heck of it!

I've never looked at that site, I'll have to think weekend!

Those are very pretty choices! Unfortunately, I'm not THAT good. Good luck with your hunt!

I just bought some beautiful jewelry on Ann Taylor's website. They have a lot of wedding-appropriate jewelry and I was able to get 40% off during a recent sale. I spent about $130 total for a necklace, earings, bracelet and brooch.
