Re: help!!

  • "Standard" flowers would be

    - bridal bouquet
    - bridesmaids bouquets if you are having bridesmaids
    - boutonniere's for the guys (groom, groomsmen and dads)
    - corsages for moms & grandmas(if you want)
    - chapel/church, but really not needed
    - centerpieces if you want floral centerpieces

Since you are doing this quickly, and may be on a budget, the bridesmaids can carry one nice flower each, like a calla lilly or rose, with the stems wrapped with ribbons. You don't have to have flowers in your centerpieces, you can have lanterns or candles, or use silk flowers. However, silk flowers are generally the same price as real ones.

    I agree with above member.

I would also recommend you buying rose petals, they are relatively cheap and can make the wedding look superb.

    SUGGESTED QUANTITY FOR POPULAR USES:

Wedding Toss: 1/2 cup per guest

Runway or Aisle: 12 cups per 20 square feet for light coverage. Use 20 cups, per 20 square feet for moderate coverage. Use between 2-3 cups per square foot for elaborate coverage, creating a blanket of rose petals.

Reception tables 5-6 cups per 60″ round table. For light scattering around just the center of the table use 3 cups or so.
