Best Place to Buy Alcohol in Portland/Salem

Any suggestions on where to get the best deals on alcohol (wine and liquor) in the Portland/Salem area?  We're stocking our wedding bar for about 125 guests.  I heard that Costco is a good place, even cheaper in CA if we have relatives willing to go for a liquor run before the wedding.

    I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure alcohol in Oregon, the prices are set by the state... so they are all the same. Washington is different. Also if you know anyone in the military they can go to the base's liquor store and get it SUPER cheap.

    Ya, liquor will be the same anywhere in Oregon.
    For wine and beer though I would suggest Costco (especially for champagne - its almost half price compared to grocery stores)

    I'm going to Trader Joes to stock up on 2 buck Chuck for our wedding. Their merlot isn't too shabby and you can't beat the price. Try a bottle first if you don't like it, you're hardly out any money

    I know that not all places are the same. There are 2 here in corvallis, and their prices vary WIDELY. So I would just do your research and go check out places before buying.
