Re: Oh my god

  • I had the same thing happen to me last week I was so effin itchy and thought I was allergic to some kind of food, but it wasn't. It went away after like a week when my stress level went down a bit.

  • Rachael - your wedding is soon enough that I would consider going to the doctor. Something similar happened to one of my BFFs about one week before her wedding, and her doctor gave her some suggestions and some medicine to help the swelling go down (except it was on my friend's face!) she ended up being fine, but if they really are bad, it isn't a bad idea to go to the doc.
  • I think stress can cause this. I would see your Dr.

  • by the way I ended up using cortizone and my hives weren't that bad, but if they are bad in your case yes I would go see a doc.

  • That happened to me the week before finals my senior year in college (and a handful of other times throughout my life). I have some skin sensitivities, but I've also found it gets worse with stress. Benadryl and cool showers usually help when it happens to me! I hope it gets better soon!
  • Heat rash?  It's hotter than hell today

  • This happened to be 3 times in my life.  And everytime it was my ENTIRE body from head to toe.  Go to the doctor and they'll give you some meds to bring down the swelling and help with the itching.  It lasted a full day each time.  If you tell them that your getting married in a week they may give you extra meds in case it happens again because it probably is due to stress.

  • It has not gotten any worse, and strangely its not that itchy...only on my back...so wierd...but zyrtec helped me last time, so I am going to drink TONS of water and flush my system.  I will see where it is on Monday.......ahhh

  • Go to the doctor! Also maybe a benadryl will help? It could be heat rash as well, this happened to me last summer and my skin was crawling.
