Ceremony Site in Southern RI

Hi fellow Knotties...
My fiance and I are having our reception on September 3, 2011 at Quidnesset Country Club, and are looking for a place to hold our ceremony (Quidnesset doesn't do ceremonies on Saturdays). My family belongs to a church in Smithfield, but we would like to have the ceremony somewhere closer to Quidnesset so that guests wouldn't have too far to drive. We are open to either a non-religious venue where we would have to hire the officiant, or any type of Protestant Church (Episcopal, Baptist, Congregational, etc) that wouldn't have a problem with marrying non-members.     First Baptist church in Wickford is close by and such a cute area.

    how many guests?  South ferry church is lovely.  That's where I'm getting married, but it's pretty small.  I'd say 120 max.

    i'm having the exact same issue...we're getting married at quidnessett on a saturday as well and we can't find any good ceremony sites that will accommodate our 160 guests.  goddard park carousel is nice and it is really reasonably priced and holds 200 people but it's already booked for the day of our wedding :( chapel by the sea in warwick also looked nice online but there are some pretty bad reviews about it...let me know if you have any luck!!

    then south ferry church is probably too small for you.  We're only inviting about 100.  Good luck!

    I'm also getting married at South Ferry Chapel!  Its adorable!  we're having 150 there... might be tight but its a 15 min ceremony :)

    If  interested in a July 15, 2011 evening wedding night at kirkbrae country club in lincoln R.I. is available.A Friday night is a lower price approx.$52 pp with a wedding package and the south ballroom has a beautiful panoramic view, a balcony  can accomidate up to 200 guest for a ceremony, the biggest dance floor in R.I and the beautiful grounds are blooming at this time of year.If interested or know of a family member ,friend, co-worker...ETC..Please contact KCC sales team.401-333-1300
