Anyone watch last week's Private Practice?

I just got into the show during last season so I'm not too sure of the relationships'  I do know it's a spin off of Grey's.  What I want to know is that at the end of the show, Addison received a call and started to cry.  Someone being taken off life support maybe?  Anyone know if it was to do with a Grey's character?  Thx

    Mark (McSteamy) on Gray's was taken off life support. Addison was married to Derrick (McDreamy) and Mark was their good friend.

    McDreamy is not McSteamy?  I haven't watched Grey's since season 1.

    I thought she said Mark or Mary.  Thanks for the info.

    Yes Private Practice is a spinoff of Greys. It's in it's 6th? season. It's based on Addison after she left Seattle and moved to LA. The reason she was crying was because on Grey's, Mark- she and Derek's mutual friend- was taken off life support after last season's deadly plane crash. 

    If you watch this week's episode (Tuesday at 9) of Private Practice, Addison will reveal her history with Mark and Derek to her current boyfriend, Jake, according to the preview.

    I watched the previews and saw that there was going to be some Admitting Up Them Truths.  I'm sure it'll answer some questions I have about the series and the relationships.
