Does anyone have...

Done anyone have a really good check off list for "things we need" I feel totally and utterly lost everytime I try and write out a list of all the stuff we are going to need for the wedding. The checklist on the knot is helpful for knowing what time things need to get done by. But when Im thinking of things that I need to DIY versus buy  I keep just going blank, I try and visualize the wedding venue and think of what should go where..  but again then I just kinda get a little glazed over and KNOW that I am forgetting things.

Or is there a good way for me to make the list my self? Break it up by person (I need blah, groom needs blah, ceremony needs blah) or DIY versus purchased

I really need help :(

What I did was envision the day and add to the lists I found online. So when I'm getting ready what will I want? Obviously make up and hair... And then as I thought more the list got more detailed. It took a while but now I pretty much know what DIY I'll need to do, what I need to buy, what vendors I want booked, etc Hope this helps! If not, I bet a lot of girls might have lists of what they need for their weddings in their bios. That might help inspire you!

  • Try just starting a list even if it is only 1 or 2 things and every time you think of something write it down.  It may look overwhelming but doing it now you will give yourself plenty of time to get everything done. I broke mine down into catagories such as: ceremony decor, reception decor, vendors, DIY, and many many more =]

<div>Ditto this. If I tried to write down everything at one time, I'd rip my eyes out. lol Start with as much as you can think of. Ceremony decor, reception decor, attire for you, attire for BMs, attire for groom, attire for GM. Etc, etc. And add to it as the days go by. Just try to envision when you wake up, what will happen? And then progress through the day as you can envision it so far.</div>
  • I have lists on my iphone for everything. And I don't check off my "to-do" list until it's 100% finished meaning I have it purchased/assembled/booked/ordered. The to-do list on here is helpful that way
