Little Italy Rehearsal Dinner

My fiance has his heart set on having the rehearsal dinner in Little Italy.  I think it'll be fun!

Any recommendations for Little Italy restaurants with a private room?  RD would be Sat June 5, approx 50 people.  Ideally would only like to spend $25-30/person plus drinks/tax/blah blah.

    La Mela  may be a good choice, popular for rehearsal dinners, family style italian in little italy.  Good luck!

    I second LaMella.....fabulous food, lots of fun and the place is huge, so getting a room for yourselves shouldn't be a problem.

    So funny that everyone is saying La Mela!  I saw their party prices online and dragged my FI and dad there last week to try out the food.  So yummy!

    But the party room (or at least, one of their separate rooms) looked pretty "pizza place"-y.  I only looked in from the street though.

    Is the decor as bad as I think it is?  Am I just being silly?

    Hi Daryl,

    Here is an idea...Hire an entertainer for piano or guitar to really let loose!!

    Look under rehearsals and showers- there is a Long Island vendor there called John Arden Music
