Registry "stalking"

Just want to get a feeler out for this. Is anyone else stalking their registries? I have 3 bridal showers the next 3 weekends, and I haven't been able to help but stalk the registries and get excited when I see another item purchased.

Anyone else have this problem?

It happened by accident the first time, I was just going to update it. But I saw all of these "fufilled" items and I just had to look. Now I can't stop checking.

I was checking but then I got in trouble with FI. He wants to be surprised

I have to admit that it is much more fun to have boxes show up at my front door now that I don't know what I'm getting, and I think my shower will be a lot more fun this weekend too!

I couldnt stop stalking the registry but now that the shower is over, its waiting to see what rsvp's come in everyday! So exciting either way.

I stalked up until the night before my registry
It was so addicting
even now, after my shower, i someitmes look and just yesterday someone bought a bunch of stuff, towels, linenss, comforter.
it must be a wedding gift because they spent a lot
so i am excited t get that

I also had the stalking problem...but I didn't check the week before my shower because I was busy with work and moving and just didn't have the time or energy. Although I knew mostly what I was getting, at the actual shower all my knowledge of the registries flew out the window. It was like I never checked them (may have also been because I was a bit frazzled from moving that morning...). I was moreso excited to see who the gifts were from.

I've resisted the urge so far. My shower is Sunday so I'm trying to hold out a little longer. I love being surprised but I'm anxious to know! We'll if I can make it another week

I thought I was the only one... I have 3 showers also... one has passed, but one is coming up in 2 weeks... and the 3rd is right before the wedding... I can't stop looking it's so exciting.. but I know I'm ruining the surprise!!! For my shower in NY most people waited to purchase until the day of the shower, bc all the gifts were getting mailed to me... and they know I would snoop!!!

Whew! This makes me feel much better. I thought I was the only one. And I also got caught by FI too. I mentioned how I couldn't wait to get the laundry sorter someone got us (he's horrible at putting things into the baskets), and he told me to stop stalking them now that registry invites have been sent.

Guilty! I can't stop checking my registeries. I probably check them way too often lol but I just can't help it. My shower is only 2 weeks away so it's fun to see what appears on my fulfilled list.

Haha, I do the same thing to my fiance. It amuses him.

Now that my (surprise-that-someone-blabbed-about) shower is coming up, I've started checking much more obsessively.

I'm actually more worried that no one will come to the shower than I am about the registry =/

My shower is on Sunday and there's only been 10 items purchased lol. That makes me a little like uhhhh cause it makes me think that half the people who were invited won't even be there!!! O.o

Yup been definitely doing that after I noticed 2 things and been fullfiled. Now I check constantly to see if more have been taken off! Hehe My bridal shower is Sunday as well and there are only 4 things from my registry that has been bought so we'll see...

I can honestly say that I haven't stalked the registry. I've only gone on to update a few items a number of weeks ago. I don't think I'll be having a shower so I'm not expecting any gifts until the wedding anyway.

Also been checking. Since I have all four of my showers in July not a whole lot has been bought yet. And my FI won't let me tell him what any of the items are! lol

My shower was the end of May. I went to sneak something on my list and accidentally saw some stuff that was purchased. I was super excited! But I really wanted to be surprised so I restrained myself from checking the other registries--but I did check the items purchased count on my Target registry because I knew it would tell me that without telling me what was bought. And when the shower came, I completely forgot what I had seen on the registry until I opened them, so it all worked out fine.

I still check on the registries now. I had to update after the shower, but there was still a lot of stuff that I didn't feel that I needed to add more things. I'm still kind of hoping things get fulfilled as we get closer to the wedding.
