Martini Luge....

Hi!  I was wondering if anyone has had or will be having a martini luge at their wedding......if so who was your vendor?? My ice sculptures are through my venue.....but they don't do ice martini luges (no shots) so I'm looking for someone to do some additional ice work.  Thanks!!

    The Mansion in Voorhees orders ice sculpture luges (for martinis).  You could call there and ask who the vendor is?

    I would double check with your venue that if you find someone to do this, that they will permit it.  If they prohibit shots (like many do), they may not want the ice luge, even if you say you are going to pour a mixed drink down the luge.  Just don't spend the money and find out the day of it was a waste.  Good luck, sounds fun.

    Thanks guys!! I know that the Merion no longer allows shot luges due to people getting sick on themselves but they allow shots to be taken separately.  I seriously cannot believe adults acted that way.....I love to drink and party...but seriously at a wedding?  Since I'm already having a set martini bar I would assume that they wouldn't mind me having a snowflake martini luge; however I have contacted my venue just in case ahead of time.

    aprovencher21 , are you getting married at the Merion?  We're having our wedding there this September and they told us the same thing about the luge.  We're still pushing them on it but no luck so far.... But I did notice that they have a picture of one on their website!
