Wording for extra info in invites... HELP!

We are printing out our own invites and I have the Invitation and response cards perfect. But as I am trying to figure out what other info to put in the invite, i.e. directions and accomadations. I came acrossa question, do I need to include where we are resgistered or is this tacky? Should we be telling people or is it word of mouth? I know its standard to put it in the shower invites but not sure about the wedding invites. I was going to add a card with our wedding website, which does stay where we are registered if that person wants to know. What are your thoughts? Thanks

Re: Wording for extra info in invites... HELP!

  • Word of mouth.  Registry information has no place in an invitation.
  • Don't list your registries, or anything about gifts on your invitations.

Putting your website on an insert is fine, and registry info can be on the website.

FYI: "Accommodations" is the correct spelling :)
  • Thank you, kinda what I thought too. But was on the wedding bee looking at diy invites and almost all of them had big cards with the places they were registered at....wanted to make sure :)
