Does the Idea That Our Weddings Are NEXT MONTH Freak Anyone Else Out?

As I was driving to work this morning I realized it's March 1st. Nice, 51 days to our wedding.

Then it hit me. MARCH! That means April is NEXT MONTH! WHAAAAAAAAAT!

I actually teared up thinking that it's so soon. Then I started to panic remembering all of the things we have left to do.

Anyone else with me?

I'm so glad I'm not alone. This is just madness. Granted, I'm probably sensationalizing it a bit, but it's overwhelming! I just sent out emails to a whole bunch of vendors who asked for more info as the time got closer.

Now my dad and my officiant (my uncle) want me to go with them to help pick out their tuxes. Granted, 2 weeks ago they refused to even look at a tux. My mom wants me to go with her to get alterations on her dress too. That's on top of the 4567898798079 billion other things. Yikes!

Definitely agree and my mother asked me to invite a few more people because we have had some no's and she is upset that she doesn't have many friends invited...what?

On top of that I am interviewing for new jobs as I am unhappy where i am....so much going on.

I'm right there will all of you! I freaked out a bit last night with everything (my sister and I think spent almost an hour at Michael's trying to get stuff). And today I go for my hair and makeup trial! I'm excited/nervous/stressed/ready to cry at the drop of a hat all at the same time.

@cbdishop I feel ya with being unhappy at your job. I don't like it here either and a few people have already left. I want to also, but with the wedding and my other job and moving out, it's just too much to look for another job right now. I don't know how you're doing it. I plan on interviewing 1-2 months after we're married.

@clcranda I can't wait for my hair/makeup trial too! I'm going Sunday. Post pics when you're done!!

I'm with you guys. Seems like it's coming sooo fast! We just asked ourselves the eloping question last week, when FMIL threatened not to come. Why, b/c shes nuts. lol Alls well now, but i'm holding my breath for the next piece of drama from her! lol

I'm so excited to see everything come together...and I just know all the drama (and money) will be worth it.

EEK so exciting!! All we have left to buy is the
candy for the buffet & i'm ordering some of it today!

I'm freaking out about not having the bridesmaids dresses ordered! And one has to be altered since she is pregnant! Ugh but other than that I'm super excited!

I am right there with everyone. So exctied but so much left to do!!! I am stresse about flowers....I decided two weeks ago I really wanted real flowers. So we set up a consultation with a local florist. Two weeks after the consultation still no quote. If it is to much we have to go another route. Partly my fault but frustrating all the same.

I'm so excited to marry FI, but everyone keeps reminding me how close April is, and I should get everything done this month so I won't have to worry about it next month. I'm the kind of person who has to sleep on decisions for a few days, so with people pressuring me, telling me to make decisions and asking my opinion on 52 thousand things, I'm starting to freak.

Oh wow, so it must be even more exciting for you. The longer you have to wait, the harder it is! My countdown was somewhere around 280 days. Still can't believe it's down to 50! GASP!

@laurmd...i'm right there with you! I think ours was about 630. (We had about a 20-21 month engagement...its been almost 2 years planning) I was use to telling everyone its not this April in 2011, but next April in 2012 and now its about here!

I am TOTALLY FREAKING out! I work 4 jobs and we are paying for our entire wedding ourselves and everyday I worry that I won't have time to get everything done/planned/ etc or that we won't have enough money for the wedding or things we want to do. I just want the day to be here so I can stop planning but at the same time don't want that because I know that this is a one time thing and I should be enjoying it. ANy suggestions on ways to stop stressing and just have fun? I could really use some advice.

Delegate! I've learned the hard way that you can't do it all yourself. You have to get back up. That's what your FI is for. If he isn't available, then see if any close family or friends can help you out. It's a stressful time for all of us and we need others to help us out.
