...just mailed out my STD's. It feels weird! I had another one of those moments like "Wow, this is really happening!" when I handed them off to the postal worker to mail off. Crazy! I'm so excited though! Anyone else feel like that when they mailed theirs?

I had the same feeling!! It's been great hearing that people have gotten them and sharing some of the excitement with more of our families and friends

I had that feeling when my invitations came in. It felt so real and final. We put our wedding website on our STDs and a lot of people have been signing our guest book which also makes it feel like it is really happening.

It definitely felt real when we picked out the BM dresses because now other people besides us are buying things and making plans.

I had that moment when I got my dress, went with some of my girls to pick out their dress and when the STDs went out! Its crazt...a lot of us have been planning for so long, waiting for these days to come and they're here!

I felt the same way last week after mailing them. And then people calling and texting us telling us they got them and how excited they are makes it feel so final/real it's a strange feeling!

Haha I caught myself yesterday saying we are planning on getting married in October I mean we ARE getting married in October. We've made actual plans, reserved the church and reception venue, purchased my dress, picked BM dresses etc. So we are actually DOING it! It felt so weird to go from mental planning to actually doing and it being reality!

I felt the same way.. like whoa this is really happening we're not just imagining it!

Cathryn4 - I think it might depend on how far people are traveling. If they need to book flights and hotel rooms then you might want to send them out a little earlier if they're just booking hotel rooms then I'm sure April is perfectly fine.

<div>I think you're fine. STD's go out about 6-8 months in advance. We sent ours today and it is around the 7.5 month mark. About 90% of our guest list is coming from OOT so we wanted to get STD's out closer to the 8 month mark because our wedding is on a Sunday and we want our guests to plan ahead. Also, they will need to book flights/hotels. But I don't think you need to worry. Sending them out in April is a good time too. </div>

I got that same feeling! I just mailed our save-the-dates on Friday, and as they physically left my hand, I got that sense of, "OMG, we are actually getting married!" It's pretty cool to start sharing the ins and outs of this big event we have planned with the people we love.I can't wait until people start visiting our website and signing the guestbook!
