    We actually met through the Toledo Chamber organization EPIC.  The first night I met him, I had zero interest in him.  A few of us were at a bar after a meeting and I called him an arrogant ahole.  However, I did have fun drinking with him so we would go out for beers every once in awhile.  He started persuing me after awhile and it was a long time before I gave in.  Once I did, there was no turning back though, I was head over heels for him!

    We met online.  It was a very quick moving relationship.  We talked and talked and talked on the phone for about 2 weeks before we met and just knew that we loved each other before we even met.  We both said if we could have gotten married the day we met, we would have.  We met on Thanksgiving Day 2008 and he moved to Pennsylvania, where I am from, January 1, 2009.  We were engaged in September 2009,  and we are getting married October 2, 2010.  It was like it was very "meant to be".  We both feel that when you know you have met the one, you just know.

    And thanks for the QOTD...I've missed them and I probably won't be active on this board too much longer as my wedding is just 18 days away!! :)

    At a beer pong table :)

    We both went to the University of Dayton and were at a party with mutual friends... he needed a beer pong partner... the rest is history :)

    We joke around that we're going to have beer pong at our reception although I'm not sure how that will go over.... maybe the after party...

    He was a co-worker of my BFF and joined a group of us at the bar one night.  Similar to Kelly's story, I was not a big fan the first time I met him, but after hanging out another time or two, I was the one pursuing him until he finally gave in, lol!

    Yay!  I am so busy with work and school and don't get to these boards nearly as often anymore.  A lot of times I don't touch a computer until 8:00 at night and it seems silly to post something then...

    Anyway, DH and I met in high school.  One of my good friends started dating one of his friends and so we were introduced that way. Though we were both in the same school, he is a year younger than me so I didn't know him.  We met New Year's Eve of my senior year and were a couple 2 months later.  Anyway, we were together for 5.5 years when we were married and it's been almost a year since the wedding.  I can't believe it!  I seriously feel like our wedding just happened.

    We met in an online video game called Lineage 2. I was living in California, he was living in Ohio.  I was moving back to Ohio in a few months, and ironically, he was moving back to California.

    We talked in the game for several months, played together every single night.  Eventually exchanged phone numbers and texted/talked all day on the phone.  We were in Ohio together for a brief period of time, but did not meet in person.

    2 years after we met in the game, we met in person.  He moved back to Ohio a few months after that. When I got the job in Colorado, he moved with me.

    One time at Band Camp....

    I met my FI in band in high school.  We were both in the percussion section and we hit it off!

    This is totally embarrassing but we met at "Club Soda....it's not a place we would normally go but we were out with friends and a really good band was playing.  When we met each other's families for the first time we told them we met in church....LOL

    Myspace. 

    Chatted for a few months...nothing major, just friends.  Had coffee at Starbucks one evening...ended up staying there talking for over 3 hours and have been together ever since!  Dated for 3 years...just got married July 3rd!
