FI and I are registering this week and I have absolutely no idea what I want for everyday dishes. What are you/did you register for?

Sophie Conran Portmerien in white. My brother and sister in law actually have them as their everday dishes, but they only use them. We are only registering for them.

I don't have mine yet to recommend, but FH and I registered for Noritake plates at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I like having lots of colors and things, so we registed for 3 sets in four different colors (blue, green, yellow, and graphite for a total of 12 sets).

We registered for (and received!!) Pottery Barn's Emma dishes. They are beautiful!

We didn't register for dishes as we already had a set, but I'd recommend getting some in white. I feel like they're classic and match everything.

We have Fiestaware for our everyday. We have pretty much every color except brown.

I wasn't thrilled about all the colors at first (I tend to like things a little more matchy matchy, heh) but the in-laws live near a Fiesta outlet so we've been getting them for Christmas the past few years, and it's grown on me. We did mostly serving pieces on our registry to go with our plates and bowls.

If I had to pick a new set, I would probably go for either Opal Innocence Carved (white with a nice scroll pattern), or maybe the Noritake Bloom (I like the black and white with the flower pattern). Maybe someday

We also got Noritake from BB&B. It's wonderful, and we love it:-) The only issue so far is that we had one box of plates that arrived with only 3 plates in it instead of 4, and we've been trying to get that one replaced for the last 6 months with no luck. I think this issue is more on BB&B's side (getting the replacement), but I wonder how a box of plates was shipped out missing a plate to begin with.

I looooove our new dishes. They are stoneware: Lenox Frenche Pearle. We got them in white/cream, but they come in light blue and mint too. They look great (food looks awesome on them) and are dishwasher/microwave safe.

We're doing fiesta - love the colors, great price, and their quality is excellent. It's also never going to stop being produced (at least not anytime soon), so if we have any accidents we can easily replace pieces we break.

scogs- I love lenox french perle, however my FI hate it.

I also really love fiesta, but my FI has never seen it in person, so we are going to check it out later this week, hopefully he likes it as much as I do!

Or I will probably just register for something in white, I do like this one, but I was trying to stay away from white.

I love my Corelle. I have teenagers, and that stuff stands up to anything. We just have the white, which is nice because it matches everything.

We did Crate & Barrel's Square Rim plates. They're plain white, so they look great with all food. H and I both love the square shape too. They've held up very well for the past few months, no chips or cracks. They also have 5 star reviews, so I expect them to hold up for many many years!

Mikasa Antique White. It's at Macy's and BBB. It's an everyday china and is very classic and durable. They were the first things to get bought up on my registries.

We are in love with our Corelle Urban Arch. They still look like we just took them out of the box after much wear and tear!

We also ended up with Noritake, and I love them. We initially received 13 (!) sets of Kate Spade Fair Harbor from our registry, but within 2 weeks of using them we returned the whole set. They scratched like crazy, we could barely use a steak knife! The woman at Macy's recommended that we switch to Noritake, and we couldn't be happier.
