    we went on a cruise to the bahamas.... came home to a foot of snow in the driveway... good times tho!

    Soooo - details?  Was it a special occassion?  Had you been on a cruise before?  What did you like about it?

    I have always had an aversion to the ideas of cruises - but never been. 

    What di d you do?  (I hear there are activities.)

    ooooo - an actual opportunity to chat and get to know people!

    I would be interested, too.  As we're going on our honeymoon cruise to the southern caribbean March 5 :)

    it was for a wedding....very nice.  my only complaint was the food.  it was terrible.  otherwise, i had a great time in the casino, saw a comedy show, took some great photos, and relaxed.  the drinks were a bit pricey, but most were quite generous wtih teh alcohol.  we were on Carnival - i think id try a different line next time for better food and a more adult environment.  this one was geared toward kids and a younger crowd in general.  but it made sense in this case, since there were 14 of us, and 6 of them were kids. 

    folks advised us to get a balcony room.  we opted instead for a window since we didnt want to pay the extra money, and wished we'd done the balcony. so take that piece of advice!!
