Divorce and Ceremony Seating

My parents are divorced, and my biological mom has not been involved in my adult life.  My stepmother and father have planned the whole wedding and are a major part of my life.   I am feeling torn about ceremony seating.  Should my bio mom sit in the "MOB" seat or my step-mom?  I want to honor my step-mom as she is so important to me, but my bio mom will probably be offended if she isn't given the MOB seat.  Thoughts?

    There isn't really a MOB seat, more like the row for immediate family members. Do you not want to put them all in the same row? If you think your bio mom will be offended by putting her in the second row and your step parents in the first row, why dont you put them on opposite sides of the first row with a few intermediary people in between them, like any siblings who aren't in the Wedding party or something.

    What a great dilemma~ but hear me out...
    Honestly and with respect, I would have your bio-Mother seated first.(hold on...)

    Alternate your options therafter, starting with Groom's side:
                                                     (do the pencil art of this)
    Grandmother (groom's)
    Grandmother (bride's)
    any Step's (groom's)
    Current Mother (bride's) Father comes back to escort Bride (leave seat open)
    Current Mother (groom's) with Father

    Obviously with new Steps and lost grandmother's, this will change a bit, but the idea is still relevant.  I just gave your bio Mom space in between a Grand and a current StepMom. If no Grand, then substitute, please!

    Upon RECESSIONAL, the immediate parents will be the first to follow, hence, the last in row must unfortunately be the last to follow.  You got me???

    Take the higher ground just this one day to keep peace, because this is actually a very small grant to them, and they probably won't realize it!!!
