We just got word that FI's grandmother, who has had Parkinson's Disease/Demntia for the last year and a half, had a heart attack this morning and was transported from her nursing home to the hospital and is currently in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at Sloane Kettering Hospital out in Dayton, OH. FFIL is out there now, and it doesn't look good.
Please keep us and FI's family in your thoughts and prayers; of all times for this to happen, this wasn't the ideal weekend. I am scheduled for spinal surgery on Monday, and traveling out there would be extremely difficult. But God works in unexpected ways, as FI said; FFIL was supposed to go out there last week and was delayed until this weekend. Thank God he was out there when this happened.
