My biggest pet peeve is stop lights that do not have a sensor. I can't stand waiting, at midnight, for the light to turn. I'm such a rule follower that even though I really want to run the red light, I never would. Such a time waster!

I can't stand slow drivers in the left lane. Pass and get back to the right.

I hate when gossip magazines but celebrity couples names together like TomKat. Really?

My pet peeve is when people accidentally step on the backs of my shoes/feet. I'm sorry, it's called personal space, there is NO reason you need to be walking so close to me that you step on my feet!

My other pet peeve is when people believe something that is wrong and no amount of educating them on the facts will change their minds.

I hate when people don't use proper grammar! Also today I went to work (I work at our college newspaper) and we have a limited number of parking passes for behind the building. Three people didn't return them! I could've gotten a ticket! Luckily I didn't

Just recently wives that think they deserve something because of their husband's service or use their husbands accomplishments/awards in an attempt to prove an argument about themselves. We have an acquaintance that does this and its annoying. Perhaps this is Flameful but i don't care.

I agree!  This is true with law students' wives, too!  Anyone who wears someone else's accomplishments on their sleeve is ridiculous and annoying. Create your own identity and be your own person.

We went to a reception the other day for FI's law school program - he's doing a joint JD & LLM, so the LLM is like the specialized degree that lawyers usually go back and get later, but he's doing it all at once.  So there were a bunch of lawyers there who have existing practices, and their wives.  WOW.... a few of those ladies were NOT nice!  They were snotty and condescending, saying they were smart and caught their men after they started making money, and that law school brides (meaning those of us who are getting married to guys right out of law school) will do all the work of supporting them while they're students and then they'll leave us for someone better.  They had no idea that my FI was still one of those law students - they thought he was a lawyer and I was one of them! It took a lot of self control to not spill my drink on one of those snots.

Like our one friend says people should salute her when her DH becomes an officer cause she put up with so much crap when he was junior. I think that's ridiculous.

@Sammy Wow,   that is ridiculous.   I can't believe people actually do or say things like that.

I don't live in DC anymore, but people that stand on the left side of the escalators! Anytime friends or family go to visit that is one of the things I tell them to be aware of!!

When someone doesn't respond to an invitation (casual or formal), as their means of saying no. Just say NO! I won't be hurt, I promise! This doesn't have to do with wedding, but a cook-out DH were hosting last weekend. I have acquaintances who do this often. Let me know so I can make other plans, and not sit around waiting for you.

Being late! You are wasting my time!
