"Swimming" makes me think it's something they cannot recover from. I wish they posted their actual amount of debt in the secrets. 'Cause I'm nosy like that.
I agree. I just imagine it's 50K in cc debt, for fun.
Also, this may be extremely b!tchy of me, but I totally laughed at the one bragging about the 25K wedding. I know weddings can be done for much less, but I don't find 25K extravagant. That said, spending 25K on a wedding when you're only making 50 is pretty much the opposite of fiscally responsible.

I'm surprised to see AT LEAST two secrets about GTGs and making out with other nesties/their husbands.
oface, i have bag lady syndrome too. dh gets all, "we are over budget this week" and i immediately think "sell the car! sell blood! we need to move to a studio and get bunk beds!" meanwhile, dh is like, "umm, that just means we need to eat in this weekend, you freak."
i2i with Nico on the depression thing. I wonder how many of them have armchair-diagnosed themselves.
I don't get up before 9. I have no job and no real desire to look for one. Most days I find it easier to sit and play on the knot than to leave the house. I must be depressed, too. Oh wait, no. I'm just really fvcking lazy.

<div>I wouldn't go that far. IMO, if you say you're depressed, you've got a valid reason. Esp. if you're posting in secret form. And in those cases, I hope those women/men get help.</div>
all the early tkps about "you all are mean" are just ridiculous. come on, strangers will say that to my face, but someone feels the need to make a supersecret about it? please. how's that thin skin working out for you, because this thick one feels awesome on me.
Oh, and no making out happened at our gtg last night. Although I was last to arrive and can't really attest to what was going on before I rang the doorbell.
I imagine drowning in debt to mean you can't pay the monthly mins without paying something else late. They probably also have iPhones with $200/mo plans and $600/mo car notes. (yes BIL and SIL I'm looking at you)
The $25k wedding cracked me up too. The make out ones give me the heebie-jeebies...they probably got something that required and antibiotic.

Although I do still think that lots of people confuse the blues with depression.
