Fingerprint tree guest book

Hi ladies! im so happy because today I received my original fingerprint guest book from the artist!! He included our initials on the trunk and two little bride and groom birds

I already bought the inks in green, yellow and tan colors! Are any of you going with this idea as well?

That is beautiful!

I haven't decided what I want to do for a guest book. I was originally thinking of a calendar, but I don't have the time to execute it the way I want. I really liked mtishawt's post the other day with her DIY guest book which involves a shadow box. I actually have a spare shadow box at home, so it would practically cost me nothing to make it. I'm not entirely sure yet, though. We'll see!

Your picture is BEAUTIFUL! I love the idea of having something to hang in the house after the wedding!!

We are doing one with the "UP" house - but instead it will be a drawing of our house - the balloons with be the fingerprints.

People will help us float our house away as our dreams begin! Just as Carl did with his and Ellie's house

I cannot wait to see our drawing!!!

Im not a great DIY kind of gal so this was the closest I could get to lol :) Good luck with the shadow box if you decide on it :)

I love that tree! I saw those on etsy and I was going to have my designer friend make me a custom tree. Then I got a free Shutterfly book from David's Bridal so I made that our guest book. THe first page is a letter from us thanking everyone for coming and celebrating with us.
We've been together for 9 years and since we didn't take engagment pictures I filled it with photos of us throughout the years and then blank pages for signatures. I love the way it turned out.

This is ours! I took a photo of my Jeep (the one that was having all sorts of issues and is the reason I met FI!) and sketched it out and added balloon ribbons - then everyone will fill in the balloons

Then the plate says our names and has August and 2012 for the tags

I LOVE the UP house idea!

We're doing a guestbook ornament tree. Each person will sign their name to a silver ball Christmas ornament. I liked the idea of something we could look at and enjoy for years to come, and decorating the Christmas tree is one of my favorite things.
