Goodreads, Book #4

Just wanted to remind everyone we are taking suggestions for the next book to read.

There hasn't been a lot of activity lately and I just want to check in and see if this is something we still want to do. Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings.

I love having a book club! To be very honest, the reason I haven't been active lately is because I read all 3 of the Hunger Games and didn't want to ruin it for those that didn't go past the first book. I also already read The Help, so it was sort of a slow book-club month for me! But I'll definitely participate in the discussion when everyone finishes The Help & I'm excited for our next book!

Alsoooo I'm pretty distracted with wedding details but it is a nice break from that!

I've been thinking. My problem is I keep wanting to suggest books that I've already read & I know are good, I need to remember that its about books we WANT to read, not recommending books that we've read lol.

I wish I could join the book club, but won't have time to read anything until school is out next month!! Reading textbooks is no fun.....

I do have a suggestion though....I've heard The Fault In Our Stars by John Green is really good....it's on my to-read list for the summer! There is also a new Jodi Picoult book out....not sure if you girls like her books but they are usually pretty good!

A couple girls on my local board were talking about "50 shades of grey" which I have not read but am now very interested in.

Yeah I've read the last couple of books already so..

Maybe we should bring discussions back to TK? I dunno goodreads kinda pisses me off a lot so I don't go on there as much.

I havent been as active on there as of late because of the blocking of websites at work. Blah!! What book am I supposed to be reading now?

If this happened I'd participate more. I have a lot of websites to check daily so one less would mean I'm more likely to participate.

I haven't joined with goodreads but I really want to start reading more books. Plus, I have more free time right now.

A great book that I've ready recently is called Homer's Odyssey. It's about a woman who adopted a three week old blind kitten. He's an amazing cat and it's a great story.
