DJ recommendations/prices?

Anyone got any recs for a DJ (and general prices)?  We're not fussy - we don't need light shows, smoke, etc.

    We are going with Memory Makers based out of Nutley. They are $900 for 5hours. 1hr Piano or Violin and 4hr DJ. You should check him out, owner's name is Guy.

    We are going with John Rossi... He's from Central Jersey (Hamilton) and owns his company, TnT entertainment. http://www.tntertainmentcorp.com/

    His website looks kinda eh, but he's great. Several friends have used him and FI went to HS with him.  I think his price was 1300 for the full cocktail hour and reception, so like 5 hours. Good luck in your search!

    We had Bob Albrecht from Fantasy Productions at our wedding last year, and the most basic price was a little under $1k at the time. Just him playing music and making announcements - we didn't care to have any of the extras like lights and smoke machines or whatever.

    This question is asked at least once a week or not more... so Peaches has created a Vendor Review site, which should be helpful for you. In addition to DJs, there are tons of other vendors reviewed on the site. (Or if you search our board for "DJ", I'm sure a bunch of threads would come up).

    For pricing, you'll have to contact the vendors, as prices can vary, based on when a knottie's wedding was.
