  I bought my dress at Mockingbird and had a mostly great experience. My consultant (Maggie) was amazing, but some other girls have said their consultant was no good. I assume their alterations are good, because they've had that same lady for years. I chose not to use her, however, because when I ordered my dress, they were unsure what size to order (my measurements were in between two sizes), so they asked the alterations lady, who proceeded to pinch my stomach and tell me to lose an inch. That said, almost everyone here has used and loved Becky Fowler who works out of her home or Leighanna with Maybe Sew.

  I ordered my dress from Mockingbird and have had a HORRIBLE experience.
  
  We special ordered it in a shorter length, and the owner measured me in my tall shoes to get the right length. The manufacturer sent it 3 inches too short (after I waited 6 months for it to come in.) When I tried it on and got upset about it being too short, the manager basically said "too bad" and still refuses to help get it fixed. I ordered my dress in plenty of time before my wedding, but now I don't know if I'll have a dress in time.
  
  Also, the alterations lady was VERY rude and I will not be using her. She told me she would not "do me any favors" to fix my dress that ws botched.
  
  DO NOT GO TO MOCKINGBIRD.
