Your flowers

I'm now at that 6 month mark and looking for a florist. For those who are married, how much did you spend on flowers (prices on bouquets for yourself, BMs, and bout prices)? Did you have floral centerpieces or not?

For those not married yet, have you booked a florist? If so, how much are you looking at spending?

I know this board is pretty slow, but I was curious about pricing in the ND area before going out florist shopping. TIA!

You're also a vendor, which is againt TK rules.

Don't take up vendors on TK. Some are crazy. I am having my flowers done through my decorator. A Grand Affair in Fargo. Where are ya from?

I am getting married in Fargo, and I am having my fiance's aunt do our flowers, because she is a florist in Detroit Lakes.  My sister got married in 2008, and her flowers cost around $2000.  It really depends on how eleborate of flowers you want and what type.  I wanted calililies, but I found out they cost around $10 per head a times, so I am going with something less expensive.  We were told that bridal boquets cost around $100-200, and BM boquets run around $50-150.  A lot of it depends on the type of flower and the season of the flower.  Just go meet with a florist with lots of ideas so you can get a better grasp on the cost.

HOLY MOLEY! flowers are so freaking expensive... I think I am going to be ordering of a website in bulk and have some of the bridal party help me stick them in Vaces ... nothing too fancy but it will work for center pieces.
as for bouquets and other ON PEOPLE flowers I think Ill go through Sunmart in Moorhead, they have pretty good selection plus having family that works there gets me a discount!

I went to bismarck for my flowers & it seems like it all depends on what you put into it. For a bridal flowers full of asiatic lilies it was $2-3 per stem with about 3 blossoms per stem. My filler was cheap, after getting everything figured out my flowers were going to run me about $40. I thought that was really nice price. I called ahead & made appointments to meet with the florists to get info, prices, and avl. of the flowers. Thats the only way I know to go about the flowers thing.
