So im still looking for venues and i found one that i kinda like im not in love with it but HEY let me check it out....so i give them a call...

ME: Hi im calling to get some information for renting your venue for a reception and wedding as well as id like to schedule an appointment to come view your facility...
MR: Ok sure when is your wedding?
ME: 8/16/2014
MR: O ummm i dont book out that far in advance...(laugh)...u never knw what may happen that far out..
ME:<<PUZZELED LOOK>> ok well are you expecting your prices to change??
MR: ....................................................
ME: HELLO HELLO <pause> hangs up and calls back busy signal (back to back)

What the foolishness was that LOL...

    Yea thats what im thinking LOL...i was going to call back but i changed my mind...smh and the place that im in love with the caterer just lost his wife in a car accident and hes going on to London and hes like check with him after the new year but i want to see it NOW...sorry im being a little selfish but i cant wait to see this place

    O wow.. That was really rude. That happened when I called a dj to inquire about prices. He hung it and had someone call me back later. I was like umm somebody hung up on me when I called, he said I'm sorry but he was busy but can I help you with something. Ummm no thanks. FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE EVERYTHING.. ON TO THE NEXT

    exactly but my thing is out of alllll the places ive called no one has ever said they dont book out that far in advance its not like im asking for 2018...gimmie a break they must not need the money

    lmfbo! Wow! Yea 1st impressions are definitely everything. Even the small stuff is usually a sign...But I have heard of venues not booking more than like a year in advance. If it's a place like Disney then you need to book years in advance but I have heard of places not booking 2 years out.

    They may have a policy...BUT...I'm sure their policy doesn't say hang up on potential clients and not answer the phone.. Definitely a sign...keep it moving.. don't look back
