Re: Thursday QOTD

  • I do ! My fiance dosnt as much.... I'm all for Apples to apples which is sorta both? i guess more of a card game ? I also like movie/trivia games. Thinking of having trivia questions about us on our tables at the reception to get guests to talk/converse and have something to do ...

  • I do like games but I am super competive and not very good lol.

Board games: Sorry, marbles, Clue ( I LOVE clue), and others
Card games, Solitare (Actually I rock at this.  Currently have a 17% winning average which is close to the highest you can get because you can't win every game :) ), Hand and Foot is my favorite, and a mirade of other card games.  I love card games and will play them forever.

  • Yes!  I especially love card games.  From weird ones like ERS (clicky) and Spoons (clicky) to more normal ones like BS (clicky), Speed (clicky), and my favorite - Rummy (clicky).  Unfortunately, I never have anyone to play with.  :(  I got really into card games in high school.  I went to a school with block scheduling:  classes were 1 semester in length, you had 4 classes a day, and each class lasted 98 minutes.  As you can imagine, we often had extra time after the lesson, especially if there was testing or a sub or something.  So basically EVERYONE had a deck of cards in their backpack and we all knew every elaborate game ever, hahaha.

I also like board games, but not as much.  I like Quelf alot, and I also like games like Mad Libs that make you life.

  • I like both cards and board games.  My brother took those "family game night" commercials that used to be on to heart, so we played quite a bit when I was a kid.  I love trivial pursuit, but I rarely have people to play with :(

FI and I both like to play Ticket to Ride - we registered for our own copy since the one we used to play is in Thailand with my sister for the forseeable future.
  • H and I LOVE to play board games with each other! We love playing Settlers of Catan.

  • H and I like Apples to Apples, Trivia Pursuit, Scrabble, and Yahtzee.
  • I love Apples to Apples! I have it. I also love Uno.  My sister has Corcasone (sp?) which is also very, very fun and I wish I had it...

  • H and I are HUGE game night people. We have game nights a lot. Some games we play are: Apples to Apples, Catch Phrase, Balderdash, Last Word, Buzzword, Mad Gab and many more. We got Quelf for Christmas but haven't played yet. The most recent one I played and liked and want to get now is ImagineIFF. I like word type games, not a fan of Monopoly and those kinds of games.
