anyone doing cookie cutters as favors? I have a question...

I'm giving out beach theme cookie cutters (one per couple) and I ordered tags from TK that just say our names and the wedding date.. we'll be tieing them to each favor with raffia and mini seashells.

However, what if people don't realize they're cookie cutters?  Am I supposed to attach a sugar cookie recipe or something to them?  This seemed like a great idea and now I'm actually wondering if people wont understand what it is.  UGH!

Maybe I can print out a recipe of some sort on colored cardstock and place each cutter in a clear celophane bag with the recipe and tie the bag with the raffia???

I would hope people would know what they are.  But maybe you could get a really good cookie recipe from your mom/grandma or someone close to you to make it special?

They should figure it out.  However, I have gotten cookie cutters at 2 weddings (one got the idea from another) and they came attached to a card that included a cookie reciepe.

Same here.  And years later they are still sitting in a drawer with the same cookie recipe tied to them.

I wouldn't hand them out one per couple. Each guest should get one.

I went to a wedding where they did cookie cutter hearts.  They attached a recipe about love.
