Budget Friendly Vendors

I know this has probably been discussed before but I can't seem to find it, so I apologize in advance.

I am looking for vendors for the following services below or around the following price ranges. If you can think of any in the NYC/NJ area, please let me know.

TIA!

DJs (no extras needed, just 4-5 hrs of music) - Budget $1000
Florist (bouquets & bouts only) - Budget $200
Transportation (not sure if / what we want yet) - Budget as low as possible lol
Hair (just me, 2 BMs, MOB & FG - salon visit ok) - Budget $200
Makeup (just me, 2 BMs, & MOB) - Budget $100

I will take any and all help I can get!

I would spend that $100 for hair and $200 on makeup on yourself.  The BM's don't need theirs done, they do can it themselves.  If they want it professionally done they can pay for it themselves.   Unless you can find a beauty school or try to make a deal with a make-up counter, I find that budget a bit unrealistic.

Good luck with the florist, my bouqeut alone was $150 and my girls were 75.  How many bouqs/bouts do you need? I would check out grocery story florists.  Otherwise just choose your flowers wisely, roses are always a cheaper choice but still look beautiful. Or do like 3 long stem calla lillies as a bouq.

Are you paying for the makeup for everyone? Because my makeup artist was within 200 ... for me.

I agree that the hair/makeup budget is low. I have a friend, who is a cosmetologist, doing my hair & makeup. Even with my friend discount, it will be more than that for all those people. Do like the PP mentioned & use the money to get a MUA for yourself & let the girls do their own.

For hair/makeup, I'm using Maria Stefania Lorefice from MSLooks (website). She also works at Dolce Salon in Lyndhurst. (Edit: She also offers airbrush)

We're using Entertainment Express Limo services for a Chrysler 300 limo. We met them at a Bridal Show & got an amazing discount. I highly recommend going to a show to see what prices you can find.

florist: AW Flowers in Kearny (no website)

    makeup: Gina Brozon

hair: I would just call local salons and ask what they charge. Mine was $40. I went there on the day of the wedding.

DJ: Bob Albrecht with Fantasy Productions

limo: Joe's Limo in Roseland. You can rent it for two hours. Or call a few taxi companies and ask about towncar rentals.

My mom's friend has her own flower business out of her house and she is reasonably priced here is her website.

I am using her for my wedding.  My friend also used her for just her bouquets.

I agree with the others your budget for hair and make up is unrealistic spend the money on yourself and have the BM's pay for themselves if they want to get their stuff done professionally.

hmmm your budget is low but contact Soundbar or AmbientDJs and see if they're in your price range. They're great to work with. Karma Flowers may also be of help, but again the budget is very low. Have you walked in a local floral shop and see if they can do it in your budget?
